As a founding member of the Storage Equipment Manufacturers Association (SEMA), the national trade association for storage equipment in the UK, we ensure that wherever possible, we conform to all applicable industry standards, covering storage installation, including correct health and safety practice.
All of our method statements and procedures are based on published SEMA guidelines, and we fully support the Storage Equipment Installers Registration Scheme (SEIRS) operated by SEMA, an initiative endorsed by the HSE to promote and develop nationally recognised health and safety standards and training in the storage installation industry.
It is Link 51 Trade's policy to ensure that all projects, from industrial racking installation to shelving installation, are carried out under the supervision of a SEIRS registered installer, in order to provide you with the peace of mind that your scheme is being installed by specialist, trained and competent teams.
We also support the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS). This scheme covers 220 occupations including trades, technical, supervisory and management. The CSCS card lists the holder’s qualifications and is valid for either three or five years. It also demonstrates that they have health and safety awareness, as all cardholders have to pass the appropriate CITB-Construction Skills Health and Safety Test.
Additionally, our quality assurance systems, assessed to ISO 9001, covers not only manufacturing, but also installation, ensuring that all processes are formalised and regularly audited. We want you to experience the peace of mind you get from a professionally designed and installed storage solution.
